Education
We have worked at Swanmore College on several occasions directly for the school, with projects varying in size for internal and external works including redecoration and associated pre-paint repair works to corridors, classrooms, sports halls/gyms, etc. The works consist of preparing and painting ceilings, walls and woodwork to a Dulux specification. We have worked closely with Dulux to create a specification that maximises durability including ad-hoc quality reviews to certify that we are achieving the standards as required by the client.

We have worked through the full six-week summer holiday and half terms to ensure minimal disruption to the day-to-day running of the school. Although works are completed out of term time, all operatives allocated to these projects are DBS/safeguarding cleared, wear photographic ID whilst on-site, wear branded uniforms and drive logoed vehicles as part of our stringent security protocol, with copies of ID cards provided to the client for added security. We also operate a sign-in and out procedure so that the client is aware of which operatives/personnel are on site at all times.
Site and project specific risk assessments, method statements and a Construction Phase Plan are provided on every project, which are communicated to the delivery team at site-specific inductions, further re-inforced throughout the project via Trident delivered Toolbox Talks.
Communication with the school occurs on a daily basis to ensure that we complete works to the programme agreed and to the highest quality. We hold project meetings to plan the programme and achieve key targets and KPIs. Our Contracts Manager has developed a good working relationship with Swanmore College staff, holding regular site meetings to review performance, budget and programme.
