Southampton City Council is the local authority of the city of Southampton; a unitary authority, with records in its archives of council meetings as early as 1199. The Local Government Act 1888 established Southampton as a county borough of the county Hampshire, giving the city of Southampton independent governance from the county.

Following a competitive tender exercise, we were pleased to have secured a 5-year contract with Southampton City Council (SCC). All aspects of the work have detailed safety procedures with a comprehensive set of Risk Assessments and Method Statements supported by a safe systems of working. This also includes a comprehensive approach to COVID-19 with social distancing measures, hand sanitiser and correct PPE procedures in place.
Our Project Manager works closely with SCC and attends weekly meetings to review progress, KPIs and quality of each phase of works while reviewing our approach to the highest standards of Health and Safety and sustainability.
We work closely with SCC to ensure we achieve their tight programme and to complete the works to an exceptionally high standard, with minimal disruption to the residents. This is supported by continuous communications to the local community to ensure that they are aware of each stage of the decorating process. We are very pleased to achieve 95% customer satisfaction.
All works are delivered by a dedicated team of highly trained trades-staff directly employed by Trident who are able to demonstrate their expertise and knowledge by completing the painting and decorating work across SCC’s property portfolio, within the timescales required, to budget and to an amazingly high-quality standard.
