Case Study

We are delivering internal and external painting and decorating works and associated prior to paint repairs/renewals to approximately 1,200 properties per annum, comprising a mixture of 1-4 bedroom houses, bungalows and flats across 94 blocks. The contract supports a wide variety of end users including LD schemes, Aged Persons schemes, Tenants at Risk portfolios, Young Persons and Crisis Housing.

Scope of Works

  • Internal decoration and associated prior to paint repairs
  • External decoration
  • Roofing and render repairs
  • Fencing renewals
  • Window and door renewals

Duration

3 years

Internal and external decoration is carried out to all previously painted elements – externally, this includes painting and repairs to render, fences, handrails, gates, windows, doors and rooflines. We are also carrying out roofing repairs, fencing renewals and renewal of fenestration. Internal decoration is applied using bespoke specified fire rated products with additional technical support and certification from the suppliers. We are using extended lifecycle paints to maximise the client’s budget and to increase the cost efficiency of the contract.

We are delivering the works via directly employed operatives selected from the local area, with 4x joiners and 16x painters. To ensure delivery to the required timescales, the joiners start the programme first ensuring that they always remain ahead of the painters and therefore minimising clashes of trades on-site and enhancing programme efficiency.

We are managing all asset priority portfolio, technical support, asbestos identification, surveying, programming, planning, access requirements, mobilisation, Covid considerations, risk identification/mitigation, programme delivery, H&S, quality assurance and financial submissions.
