Glen Oaks Housing Association provides landlord services and community representation in three distinct communities in the south of Glasgow - Arden, Darnley and Pollok. Their vision statement, “Where communities thrive”, aims to set the scene for the long-term future of their estates. They have built a strong reputation as an innovative community-controlled organisation which places customer service, financial viability and being an excellent employer at its heart.

With a proven track record in the Housing Sector, Trident secured a 5-year Painterwork Maintenance Contract with Glen Oaks Housing Association in 2019. The scope of works comprised of full internal and external decorations with pre-paint repairs to all timber items, rainwater goods and plaster/render.
The internal communal specification was to upgrade the paint system to a Class 0 and EN Class B fire rating standard. To achieve this, we worked in partnership with Crown Paints using their Timonox Flame Retardant Coatings range as a crucial first line of defence against the spread of flame.
We are committed to direct and local employment which ensures consistency in service delivery while achieving the highest in quality. The team included a dedicated Site Supervisor who mediated with each tenant to ensure full access. This was supported by regular notifications by letter informing the tenants of the start and completion dates of the redecorations to be completed and the benefit of these works.
