We are cleaning all mould to affected areas and providing internal redecoration, on a reactive basis, within residential properties owned by Fareham Borough Council (FBC). FBC were so impressed with our performance on our existing 7-year external redecoration contract that they asked us to help them with the mould cleaning and redecoration works. We were more than happy to support such a valued customer and to ensure homes are free of mould and a safe place to live for their residents.
On-going
We first receive an instruction from FBC’s Reactive Response Team with Trident’s Contracts Manager then contacting the resident to arrange a survey of the property with a report then provided to FBC with information and photos. After FBC approval of the works to be carried out, the Contracts Manager contacts the resident again to agree a start time and date and to provide any safety and security information.
The sequence of works starts with cleaning off all mould using a powerful HG mould cleaner, followed by application of a fungicidal wash and making good any areas as required. We then apply 2no coats of Coo-Var anti-condensation paint followed by 2no topcoats of Crown Mould Inhibiting paint to ceilings and walls, and undercoat and gloss woodwork.
All stages of the works are carefully programmed to accommodate each resident with our service tailored to suit any individual needs, with clear communication to ensure residents are kept up to date and informed at all stages.
