Internal and external painting and decorating works is carried out to approximately 1,800 properties.

We are delivering internal and external painting and decorating works and associated prior to paint repairs/renewals to approximately 1,800 properties per annum, comprising a mixture of 1-5 bedroom houses, bungalows, maisonettes and blocks of flats.
Internal and external decoration is carried out to all previously painted elements – externally, this includes painting and repairs to render, fences, handrails, gates, windows, doors and rooflines. We are also carrying out brickwork repairs, renewal of fenestration, GRP canopy renewals and insulation works. Internal decoration includes the application of Class 0 fire retardant paint coatings.
We are delivering the works via directly employed operatives selected from the local area, with 6x joiners and 18x painters. To ensure delivery to the required timescales, the joiners start the programme a month in advance of the painters following a Trident designed on-site route, ensuring that the joiners always remain ahead of the painters and therefore minimising clashes of trades.
We hold daily, open dialogue with Bernicia with daily site visits, weekly progress meetings and monthly Core Group meetings with all key stakeholders, which ensures they are continually informed of progress and allows us to review and monitor all aspects of the contract.
Our knowledge and experience in delivering works in this sector has enabled us to utilise alternative forms of access to traditional scaffolding, which is not only maintaining high levels of resident safety and security but also reducing costs for Bernicia, allowing them to re-invest the savings back into their housing stock.
