Trident Maintenance Services is committed to reducing the environmental impact of our work. Our approach to sustainability and our environmental management system has been recognised in achieving:
Sustainability in the Workplace
Our accreditations are supported by a Sustainability Policy that dictates our approach. We identify the types of waste and their quantities which allows us to:
- Reduce harmful emissions
- Recycle materials and promote recycling opportunities
- Reduce environmentally damaging materials
- Reduce the use of non-renewable energy resources
All our employees are trained in Environmental Awareness and adopt practices which reduce our waste and carbon footprint. We reuse materials where possible and recycle any end products produced through office and site-based activities including:
- All paint pots, cans and containers
- Residual paint and solvent
- Paper, card and plastics
- Incorporate and encourage new paint products which offer ecological benefits
In addition, we:
- Reduce carbon emissions
- Reduce our carbon footprint by improved vehicle journey planning using GPS/vehicle tracking telematic and dual fuel vehicles
- Extend cyclical maintenance programmes through supplier quality
- Reduce single use plastics, water consumption and fuel usage
